by Ziya'al-Din Nakhshabi (1801)

A fowler had threw his net over a parrot and her nest of young. The parrot told her young to pretend to be dead so that the fowler will throw them out of the nest and they can escape. When this happened, the fowler got angry. However, the parrot told the fowler that she is a great healer and that he could sell her for a lot of money. The fowler brought the parrot to the king who had a disease. The king bought the parrot for ten thousand dinars. The parrot started to cure to king, and after getting halfway done, persuaded the king to let her out of the cage so she could treat him better. The king opened the cage, and the parrot flew away to be back with her young.
